Reflection
A Shift in How I Build
A reflection on moving from traditional software engineering into building real products with AI agents
The Shift
For most of my career I worked as a software engineer building traditional systems.
Over the last year something shifted for me.
I started exploring AI tools deeply. At first it was curiosity. Then it became experimentation. Eventually it became building real products with AI agents.
The experience changed the way I think about software.
Instead of writing every line of logic, we now design systems that collaborate with intelligent models. The role of the engineer is evolving from writing code to orchestrating intelligence.
Over the past months I have been building a platform called Satjana as a personal experiment to explore this new way of building.
It has been one of the most fascinating learning journeys of my career.
Over the next few weeks I plan to share some of the lessons I learned building with AI agents, multi-model workflows, and real production use cases.
Curious to see where this journey goes.
